We are an organization based in the Void with a special task force posted in this reality due to timeline malfunctions. Our mission is to seek out new realities and histories so that we can bring back ideas and solutions to fix the mess this universe is stuck in.
Section 42s focus is on everyday life ocurrences, we look out for those seemingly little things that have big impacts on cultures and societies.
In one of our favourite universes for example lovers call each other „oldie“ instead of the custumary „baby“ here. Those people value age and experience. They also ditched cars in the 1980ies because of smog and developed airships for individual use and public transport. Yes, we know that is really going for parallel universe tropes. And yes, we told them and they don´t care. Their climate is also intact so kids don`t skip school on fridays to protest. But do not be fooled, that timeline is no utopian paradise: Garlic-flavoured mouthwash and Angela Merkel singing German blues songs on the radio weird us out even thinking of it.
